The 62 Initiative equips underrepresented creatives in Little Rock, Pine Bluff, and throughout Central Arkansas with access to media education, mentorship, and professional development. Through workshops, scholarships, and real-world projects, we help emerging voices claim their space in the media landscape.

About Us
Located in the heart of Central Arkansas, The 62 Initiative is the nonprofit extension of Studio 62. We are on a mission to create safe, powerful spaces for Black and underserved creatives to learn, grow, and thrive. Through workshops, mentorship programs, and storytelling projects, we’re building a pipeline of empowered media makers across Little Rock, Pine Bluff, and surrounding communities.

Hands-on training in photography, video, branding, marketing, and podcasting, led by real media professionals.

Guidance from seasoned creatives and entrepreneurs, plus access to a business counselor.
